Why we love it
Two flowers are doing almost all the work here, and doing it well. Pale pink extra-large peonies open wide with generous, ruffled heads in soft blush tones. Burgundy English roses sit between them with that deep, layered look inspired by classic garden varieties.
The contrast between them is what carries the arrangement — soft and bright against rich and warm, with enough difference in bloom shape to keep things interesting.
Pink hypericum berries add fine, clustered detail between the larger heads, their stems rising slightly above the peonies with small buds that catch the eye without competing. Ivy with purple berries trails at the edges to soften the outline, and ficus leaves fill in around the base with glossy, deep green that frames the colour above.
At 56cm, the blooms sit close together deliberately. It gives it the feel of a tight, hand-tied bunch rather than something placed stem by stem. Care Instructions
Your faux flowers need very little looking after — that's rather the point. But a bit of monthly maintenance keeps them looking as realistic as the day they arrived.
Regular dusting
Once a month, use a hairdryer on the cool setting to blow away any dust that's settled on the petals and leaves. This is particularly important for whites and lighter tones, where dust shows up more noticeably. Darker colours hide it better, but they still benefit from the same treatment. If you spot a mark, a damp microfibre cloth will usually shift it without fuss.
For delicate stems
Some of our flowers — tulips, lilies, magnolia — are crafted from treated foam to create that soft, realistic finish. These should never get wet. If they pick up a mark, a baby wipe gently removes most stains without damaging the surface.
Avoiding direct sunlight
Even high-quality faux flowers can fade over time if left in bright, direct sunlight. They're designed to last for years, but UV exposure will eventually dull the colour. If you're styling them near a south-facing window, just be mindful of how much sun they're catching.
Storage between seasons
If you rotate your arrangements or put stems away for any length of time, wrap them loosely in tissue paper and store them in a breathable box or container. Avoid cramming them in — petals hold their shape better when they have a bit of room. Keep them somewhere cool and dry. Attics and basements aren't ideal unless the temperature stays consistent.
