Why we love it
A petite dancing orchid with white and yellow blooms, delicate trailing roots and a crackle-glazed khaki pot. Small in size, quietly impressive up close.
Dancing orchids — oncidiums — have a charm that larger phalaenopsis varieties cannot quite match. The blooms are smaller, more numerous and arranged along an arching spray that genuinely looks like it is mid-dance. This version carries white flowers with soft yellow centres, each one detailed enough to hold up under close inspection. Fine, curling roots extend over and beyond the pot, which is the kind of naturalistic touch that separates a convincing faux plant from a forgettable one.
The crackle-glazed khaki pot has a handmade feel — organic in shape with a warm, earthy finish that suits the orchid's relaxed character. At 25cm tall, it is designed for small spaces: a bedside table, desk corner, bathroom shelf or kitchen windowsill where something delicate and considered is all that is needed. Real dancing orchids bloom for a few weeks and then you wait months. This one is always in flower.

Artificial flowers really require very little maintenance but there are a few tips that we recommend to keep your blooms looking 'fresh'. We would suggest each month putting your hairdryer on a cool setting and using this to blow away any dust that may have settled on the petals. This is especially important for the white and lighter coloured flowers as it's the dust that tends to cause marks whereas these don't show up as much on the darker colours. If you do see a mark on the blooms we would suggest using a damp cloth to try remove any stains.
For the more delicate artificial flowers such as our tulips, lilies and magnolia these are made from a special type of treated foam and it's important not to get these wet! If you do spot any marks on them then the best remedy is to use a baby wipe to try to remove the stain.
